What's a Hybrid Montessori Program?...
Our curriculum was created out of experience and research in child development. It’s been found that developmentally, children under the age of 6 learn best with individualized attention and our small group setting allows for that. Children also need a balanced and dynamic education that is personalized to their own needs as well as the needs of the group as a whole. As a result, using the foundations of the Montessori and Learning without Tears philosophies, we create a uniquely caring, stimulating and intellectual atmosphere. In addition, we emphasize cultural awareness and have added bilingual learning to our daily curriculum.
For over 5 years this program was proven successful while it was hosted in San Ramon, Dublin and Pleasanton as Sinai Sun Academy. Now, BuggaBee Garden wants to provide your children with an extension of their own environment and allow them to develop their natural curiosities via play & song, experimentation, emotion and social interaction. We strive to support safe risk-taking and sharing of ideas through mutual respect and communication. Due to this successful small group learning model, we are happy to say that children whom have graduated the program have been more than prepared for their immersion into both the public and private K-12 systems.
Buggabee Garden was birthed from a mission to provide parents with an alternative to the traditional preschool structures. A smaller class size, individualized attention and experiential learning are the foundations that shape our days. Traditionally, in-home care is considered "drop-off care" or “daycare” not necessarily a strong academic program. We however, work hard to provide a consistent academic and growth-based preschool program for our students.
